Volunteers |  | To make an event great, you need a hard working crew keeping everything behind the scenes running smoothly.
We have been so lucky over the years to have wonderful people helping us make Wiggles of the West the high caliber and excellent competition it is today. We want our attendees to have fun and we make sure our volunteers have fun too!
You do not have to be a Las Vegas local to volunteer. | We do allow our volunteers to enter the competition and sign up for workshops.

| If you would like to volunteer these are some of the jobs our volunteers do: Front Desk -- important to be there before we open. Thatis when Chris needs help getting everyone checked in as soon as possible. Front desk people will also sell programs and any souvenirs we have. Will Call - Checking in people already signed up, double checking their envelope and having the sign for them. Registration -- sell at the door workshop and ticket purchases, also programs & souvenirs. Dancer/Contestant Check In -- check in dancers and take their music, sort music by category, make sure they understand the video policy, and take score sheet envelopes or selling them Stage Manager -- Makes sure dancers are ready to go on stage in proper order. Places props for the dancers in stage. Picks up props and dropped veils, so the stage is clear for the next dancer. Keeps Bozos out of the back stage area. Video - video tape the show or competition, close-ups are nice, but mainly this is our record in case of disputes. Take video slips from person chosen to video each dancer. Usually covered by Mike, but needs some time off.. Score Keepers -- Must be good and accurate on an adding machine, speed also helps. Must be tight-lipped and not tell who won until we announce it. You add up the scores then double check each other before tuning them into Bill. Score Sheet pick up -- may not sound like much, but is SO important. The faster we get scores picked up from the judges, the faster we can get to the next dancer. May also be asked to police the stage with the stage manager for beads and props. Set up & Tear Down -- mostly tote and carry. Help Thursday get things from our hotel rooms or from the van into the event. Bill may need some help setting up the lights and sound. Sunday the reverse. Pre event help -- there will be some pre event volunteer work, but most of your work will be at the event.
| Volunteers will get a Staff Tshirt. This is your uniform so people can find you. You must wear it while you are working. You will also get Wiggle pants while the last.
